LincolnRoad | S4-EP. 13 | Our Take On Cruise

🚢 Ahoy! ⚓ Join Roger Blum and Shannon McKee for another exciting edition of “Our Take on Cruise”! 🌴 This week, they’re bringing you all the buzz from the sunny shores of #MiamiBeach, straight from Lincoln Road! 🌞

If you’re in town for the Seatrade Cruise Global Conference and need a quick getaway, take a leisurely 5-minute stroll to #LincolnRoad, where you’ll find a treasure trove of delights – from tantalizing restaurants to trendy shops, cozy coffee houses, and, of course, indulgent chocolate (which happens to be Roger Blum’s weakness! 🍫).

Besides for Seatrade, they have lots to discuss, including the on-again, off-again, and now on-again project to build a recreation of the #Titanic! Shannon and Roger have their opinions – what’s yours? After all – cruising has evolved – “Evolution of Cruise” – what a great theme for Seatrade!

They also discuss Princess Cruises new partnership with The Magic Castle® onboard the new #SunPrincess. There’s also the latest Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) announcement that cruising in the Caribbean hit a new record in 2023, surpassing 2019 numbers, and Nassau Cruise Port Ltd. also announced a seven ship day!

On not as happy news, their thoughts are with the people of Haiti during this difficult and dangerous time. Not surprisingly, Royal Caribbean International cancelled calls to #Labadee, so let’s hope things settle back down. They’d love to see the day when ships return to Cap Haitian, one of the most interesting ports in the Caribbean.

Lastly – Their “Fun Fact” has to do with the first day of Spring, and Major League Baseball (MLB) having its opening day in #Seoul! #SouthKorea is certainly a happening place, that Roger has been fortunate enough to visit a couple times. They’ve formed an alliance of their ports to attract more cruise business, so we’ll be hearing more from them during Seatrade Cruise Global!
